A couple of things sit outside the tour price. We handle both, so you’re not buying tickets at the foot of the mountain or finding a restaurant on the day — but they’re billed separately and honestly:

Entry tickets — from €30 per person, including a small service fee. We buy them ahead, hold your spots, and settle with the venue, so you walk in rather than queue. The fee covers that work; we’ll give you the exact figure for your group and date.
Lunch — paid directly to the restaurant. We arrange the reservation and the place, but you pay them, not us — it’s never marked up.

A shorter half-day visit is possible if your time is tight, but with the choir around midday and the drive each way, almost everyone finds the full day the one that’s worth making.

Will we get to hear the boys' choir?

Sometimes — and it's worth being honest about this up front. The Escolania sings only on certain weekdays during the school term, and is away through the summer and when the choir tours, so for a good part of the year it isn't possible at all. When your dates do fall in a singing window, tickets are limited and go early. This is the same challenge every Montserrat operator faces — no one can simply guarantee the choir, because it sings to its own calendar. What we can do is tell you straight away whether your dates work, and if they do, move quickly to secure what's available. The sooner we know your dates, the better your chances.

How long is the day?

Around six to seven hours, door to door. Montserrat is about an hour from Barcelona each way, and when the choir is singing it performs around midday, with lunch after — so the day naturally settles into a full one.
