- 23+ years operating in Barcelona — founded 2003

A Private Day, Start to Finish
Private Day Trips From Barcelona, and Beyond
The day trips our guests love most — and a starting point, not a limit. Somewhere else in Catalonia on your mind? We’ll take you there too.
Private Day Trip to Montserrat
Serrated peaks rising straight from the countryside, with a thousand-year monastery near the top. Stand before the Black Madonna, hear the boys’ choir, and take in views that run for miles — at your own pace, never rushed for a coach. The closest trip to the city, and the one that also works as a half-day.
Half or full day · hotel or cruise-port pickup
Private Day Trip to Girona
Two thousand years stacked into one walkable old town — medieval walls you can climb, one of Europe’s best-preserved Jewish quarters, and coloured houses mirrored in the Onyar. Pairs naturally with the Dalí museum or the Costa Brava coast when you want a fuller day.
Full day · pairs with Dalí or Costa Brava
Private Day Trip to the Costa Brava
Hidden coves and clear water below dramatic cliffs, and whitewashed villages like Cadaqués well away from the elbow-to-elbow crowds. The easy day by the sea — relaxed, scenic, and one families settle into without a fuss.
Full day · family-friendly
Private Dalí Museum Day Trip
Salvador Dalí built his Theatre-Museum in Figueres as his own largest work — and it shows, from the egg-topped roof to rooms that refuse to behave. Add his seaside house at Portlligat to see where the surreal began. For art lovers and the simply curious.
Full day · museum + Portlligat option
Private Penedès Wine & Cava Day Trip
Family cellars and centuries-old cava houses in the rolling Penedès, with tastings and a proper countryside lunch. The unhurried day — vineyards, good wine, and no schedule but your own. Easy from the cruise port, too.
Full day · tastings + lunch · cruise-friendly
Private Day Trip to Tarragona
A Roman amphitheatre looking straight out to sea, UNESCO-listed ruins, and a medieval core above the sand — Catalonia’s ancient capital, with far fewer crowds than you’d expect. History first, then a swim if the day’s warm.
Full day · Roman + UNESCO · beach option
Why a private day trip with us
On a private day trip the day is yours — but what makes it yours isn’t the car or the route. It’s the person beside you. A guide who’s with you from pickup to drop-off, who reads your group and shapes the day as it goes, turns a list of sights into a day out with someone who knows the place. That’s the part most operators leave to chance. It’s the part we built the company around.
A guide with you all day
Not a driver who drops you at the gate and waits. Someone who walks the place with you — because these towns and trails are only seen on foot — and answers the questions as they come.
The same owner, every year since 2003
Owner-operated for more than 23 years, not a rotating roster. The standard you book is the standard you get, because the person who set it is still running it.
5.0 across more than 100 TripAdvisor reviews
And in them, clients name the day, the detail, the person. The most honest test before you book is the reviews — ours are the proof we built around.
A fully licensed travel agency
Registered with the Catalan Tourism Registry, licence GC-002877 — the licence that covers designing and running your whole day, transport included. Not a referral, not a reseller. Booked direct, with us.
An official local guide where a site calls for one
For the places that reward credentialed local depth, we bring an accredited guide for that part of the day. Most operators lead with the credential; we lead with the person, and bring the credential where the site needs it.
Take home professional photographs
Many of our days include the option of professional photography of your group — real images by a photographer, not phone snaps. Ask when you book.
Private, and priced accordingly
Your group only — no strangers, no fixed schedule. These are private tours priced per group, so a family or small group travels at a genuine per-person value. Not a budget coach seat, and not pretending to be one.
One company for your whole trip
Most people who book a day trip with us are here for several days, not one. So we don’t stop at the day trip. Pair it with a walking tour of the old city, a driving tour, a day on the bikes, or professional photography — planned with the same person, run to the same standard, billed as one trip. You arrive with a plan that fits together, not a folder of bookings from five different companies. Build your Barcelona trip with us.
Tickets and reservations, handled
A day trip out of Barcelona has a hidden layer most visitors only discover the hard way: almost everything worth seeing has to be booked, paid, and confirmed in advance. Montserrat’s monastery and its boys’ choir, the Dalí museum at Figueres and his house at Portlligat, a tasting at a working Penedès cellar — none of it is simply turn-up-and-enter. Each runs on limited daily places, timed entry, and its own booking system, in its own language, often weeks ahead.
We handle all of it. Before your day is confirmed, the entries, the reservations, and the timing are arranged and paid in advance on your behalf — sequenced so the day actually flows, not so you’re racing an entry slot you booked blind from home. You arrive, and it’s done.
That’s also why early contact matters. These places trade on scarcity, and high season is unforgiving — the Montserrat choir and the Dalí museum in particular book out well ahead, and once a date is gone, no amount of planning brings it back. The single best thing you can do is reach out early. The earlier we have your dates, the more of the day we can lock in exactly as you’d want it.

Arriving by cruise ship
One worry comes before all others in port: making it back to the ship. It’s the main reason cruisers default to the ship’s own excursions — so we settle it first. We plan the day to your ship’s clock, with margin built in, and have you back in good time, every time. Twenty-three years, every port day built around that promise.
From there it’s just choosing well. For a tight port day, stay closer: Montserrat and the Penedès wine country sit under an hour out. Girona, Tarragona, and the Costa Brava work with a little less slack. The Dalí museum we’d save for a longer stay — Figueres is far enough north that a back-to-ship deadline rushes it.
One thing few cruisers are told: the “private” tours sold through a cruise line are rarely run by the ship. Usually they’re local operators — companies like ours — resold under the cruise brand at a steep markup, priced per person. Booked directly, a private day is priced for your whole group — for a couple or family, a different order of cost, for the same day. Not the coach run to the city’s legal maximum, not the marked-up resale — the operator both quietly point back to. Worth comparing before you book aboard.
Staying longer, or homeporting in Barcelona? That opens everything up — including pairing two destinations across a couple of days.
Day trip questions, answered
What exactly makes these private?
Your group, and only your group. No coach, no strangers, no fixed departure time you have to make. From the moment we collect you to the moment we drop you back, the day belongs to your party alone — the pace, the stops, how long you linger somewhere you love. "Private" elsewhere can quietly mean a shared van or a guide juggling several families; here it means what it says.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as you reasonably can — and earlier in summer or over holidays. The places worth seeing run on limited daily capacity, and the most sought-after — the Montserrat choir, the Dalí museum among them — book out well ahead in high season. Once a date is gone it's gone, so the sooner we have your dates, the more of the day we can lock in exactly as you'd want it. Even a rough plan months out is worth a message; we'll tell you honestly what's still open.
Can we combine destinations, or do a half-day?
Often, yes. Some destinations pair naturally — Girona with the Dalí museum, Girona with the coast, Montserrat with the Penedès — either in one full day or spread across two. Montserrat also works as a half-day if you'd rather keep an afternoon free. The honest answer depends on distances and how much you want to fit without the day turning into a marathon, so tell us what you're hoping to see and we'll shape something realistic.
What's included, and what costs extra?
Your private transport, and a guide with you for the day, are the core of what you book. Entries and reservations — museum tickets, the rack railway at Montserrat, a winery tasting — are arranged on your behalf and billed alongside, because they're bought in advance at each venue's own rate. Professional photography of your group is available as an add-on on many of our days. We'll lay out exactly what your day includes before you commit — no surprises at the end.
How is this different from a cruise-ship excursion?
Almost entirely. A ship's excursion, or any coach tour, is priced per head and run for a busload — strangers, and a guide with a group run close to the legal maximum the city allows, led behind a raised paddle on a fixed itinerary and a fixed clock. A private day is priced for your group, not per person, so once you split it across your party the per-person cost is far closer than most people expect — for a day that isn't remotely the same thing. You're not following a flag. You're not waiting on stragglers. The day bends to you, not the other way around.
Can you collect us from the cruise port — and get us back in time?
Yes to both. We meet you right at the terminal and plan the whole day around your ship's departure, with margin built in, so you're back in good time. It's the question cruisers ask most — and in more than 23 years, it's a promise we've never treated lightly. Message us with your ship and dates and we'll tell you honestly which destinations fit your window.
We're staying a few days — can you handle the whole trip?
Gladly, and it's often the better way to do it. Tell us how long you're in town and what you'd like to see, and we'll plan the days as a whole — a day trip out to the mountains, a morning in the old city, a driving tour, time on the bikes — sequenced so they balance and nothing repeats. It's arranged with one person, run to one standard, and handled as a single trip, rather than a folder of bookings from five different companies that don't talk to each other.
What happens if the weather's bad?
We can't predict the weather, so we don't cancel or refund for it — but we don't just push on regardless either. We'll adapt the day to make the most of the conditions, reorder stops, and shelter the worst of it where we can. You're always free to call the day off yourself, but a cancellation on your side doesn't carry a refund. In practice, a private guide who can change the plan on the spot is exactly what you want on a day the weather turns.
Thanks for a wonderful introduction to Barcelona. My grandma and I returned to India from Spain a few days ago. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Barcelona and would like to thank you sincerely for the time and effort you put into showing us the city and surrounding area. We have the most pleasant memories of your city, Montserrat and Figueres. It would not have been possible for my grandma to experience all of it had it not been for your sensitivity to her inability to walk much. — Shefali S., India
